We planned my younger sister's baby shower and went crazy!!! It was one of the most special events I've ever planned. We came together and made this special for her. Here's some of our brilliance.
The dessert table features a distinctive color palette executed with treats and décor, as well as two DIY dessert towers. The towers were made by spray painting metal trays from the dollar store and gluing candle sticks between the trays with a glass and metal glue. This glue can also be found at The Dollar Tree. The candy and candy bags were found at Party City.
These served as centerpieces. Vases, raffa nest and baby speckled eggs are from The Dollar Tree and Mama birds are from Big Lots. The baby shower was near Easter so it was easy to find those items. The centerpieces had to be less than $2 each.
This is a close up of the treat table. I glued a mirror to the top of the dessert tower.
Floral Duct Tape purchased from Five and Below. The original wrapper on the beverage was removed. The duct tape was wrapped around the Costco Citrus Green Tea beverages. We placed the bottles in colorful bins from The Dollar Tree.
Another close up. I think we did a good job of complimenting the Tweet Baby Girl themed décor from Party City. If I find more pictures I'll be sure to post them.
AS PROMISED... I FOUND MORE PHOTOS...
The beverage set up with the Tweet Baby Girl banner.
A lovely set up if I do say so myself. Pails from the Dollar Tree hold the cutlery, square plates from Big Lots and a fabric bin to hold the chips.
Rock candy and gumballs from Party City, Keebler fudge stripes and Easter m&m's. We placed the candy in glassware we already owned.
